With photos provided, I designed this official poster and video thumbnails for Shana Lee Gibson’s short film Ruth, “about one woman’s vision to grow food, flowers and friendships in unlikely places.” The montage of magical-looking flowers meld with a beautiful photo of Ruth, and in combination with somewhat whimsical typography, give a somewhat mystical but earthy feeling, a hopefulness and joy. It’s intended to reflect the heartwarming, uplifting and inspiring feeling one gets from watching the 5-minute film.
