West Coast Environmental Law analysed Canada’s Impact Assessment Act and made recommendations to make it more robust, and more effective at meaningfully engaging Indigenous communities about industrial projects in Canada. I used thoughtful design elements to make an otherwise dense text on environmental and social justice policy into an engaging, scannable document. The blended cover image contrasts a beautiful scene of Athabasca Falls with the stark destruction of a mining project.
